Mountsorrel Beat Team Update – Speed Checks on Walton Way

Today your Mountsorrel Beat Team carried out speed checks on Walton Way following concerns raised by local residents about vehicles travelling above the limit.

Out of 70 vehicles checked, only one was found to be slightly over the 30mph limit. All other motorists were driving within the limit, with most travelling between 20mph and 25mph.

This is a positive result and shows the majority of drivers are travelling responsibly through the area.

We will continue to respond to community concerns and carry out further checks where needed. Thank you to everyone doing their part to keep our roads safe.
